Recent Gains for Merit Pay
To follow up with Andy’s post a few days ago, the Houston School District just became the largest district in the nation to implement a program to pay teachers based on their effectiveness. Read the story HERE in the Seattle Times.
Good article, I makes me happy to see a school district as large as that one make such a change. I bet the union leadership is smarting from that move!
