A well constructed Bar complaint that details abuses and infractions of professional conduct are taken very seriously by the Washington Bar. . . http://www.wsba.org/public/default.htm
A couple other sites that are worthy of reporting judges and attorneys failure to perform ethically or by the law are;
For rating Judges . . . www.ratethecourts.com
For rating Attorneys . . . www.avvo.com
As you can see from recent Seattle PI articles, the attorneys are not happy about these new consumer services that give the consumer some say outside of their insulated racket.
Avvo is a new service and it is unclear whether they intend to publish the truth or not. This is not an endorsement of their site. We will see if real client and consumer reviews get accepted. That is the attorneys’ fear (accountability). I have heard a few complaints already that critical comments from former clients have not been posted. RatetheCourts on the other hand appears to maintain all comments submitted. They don't appear to sensor ratings and comments submitted by consumers or law professionals.
