Happy New Year - FREE advice to Divorcing Fathers

If you are a father going through a contentious divorce in Thurston (aka Hazard) county, the single best piece of advice I can offer is DO NOT HIRE A HAZARD ATTORNEY. That will save you a minimum of $30,000 in attorney fees. Chances are you were sneak attacked and scrambled to get representation. 1 in 4 men are in your shoes. But, take a breath, pause and get out of this county for real representation. There is an established network and system designed to fleece your wallet and rights. The local attorneys are not going to ruin their gravy train over something as trivial as your legal, parental and constitutional rights. Hazard attorneys will sell you out and throw you under the bus with a smile. They do not give a rip about "the best interest of the children" either. That is a joke. It is about county court revenues, grants, DSHS dollars on the books, Feminist/Lesbian Power & Control and, above all else, billing the crap out of you for a multitude of trips back and forth to the court house by your ex wife's attorney getting her wound up like a cheap clock.

DO NOT HIRE A HAZARD ATTORNEY

Happy New Year. . . Have a great year.

Rate Judges and Attorneys

A well constructed Bar complaint that details abuses and infractions of professional conduct are taken very seriously by the Washington Bar. . . http://www.wsba.org/public/default.htm

A couple other sites that are worthy of reporting judges and attorneys failure to perform ethically or by the law are;
For rating Judges . . . www.ratethecourts.com

For rating Attorneys . . . www.avvo.com

As you can see from recent Seattle PI articles, the attorneys are not happy about these new consumer services that give the consumer some say outside of their insulated racket.

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/business/344070_avvo19.html

Avvo is a new service and it is unclear whether they intend to publish the truth or not. This is not an endorsement of their site. We will see if real client and consumer reviews get accepted. That is the attorneys’ fear (accountability). I have heard a few complaints already that critical comments from former clients have not been posted. RatetheCourts on the other hand appears to maintain all comments submitted. They don't appear to sensor ratings and comments submitted by consumers or law professionals.

Thurston's courts claim to be not subject to public disclosure laws

Sure we are elected and paid by the sheeples, but the law doesn't apply to us.

This was in reponse to a request for all email in Judges inboxes pertaining to the Child Support Workgroup. This workgroup (mentioned below) curiously has a Thurston County employee serving as a private citizens on a workgroup lead by the team at DSHS which funds the salary of said employee attending the workgroup. Said employee is being paid by the county to attend the workgroup. Said employee was selected over a dozen or so actual private citizens who were also qualified by the definition of the workgroup charter....with the minor exception that they aren't employed by the courts money machine.

Should it be a surprise that the judges hope to hell we don't get a look at that email thread?

This says loads about how Thurston's courts feel about open government.
