HB 2930 Verifying that applicants for drivers' licenses and identicards are lawfully within the United States is being held up by Representative Judy Clibborn (D-41), Chair of the House Transportation Committee who will not bring HB 2930 before the committee to vote on.

However if you fall behind in your child support (better known by many reemed in custody battles as alimony/extortion paid by NCPs to see their kids) you have no rights as shown by SB 6803 which establishes restricted licenses for persons who fail to comply with child support payments. McAuliffe, Hargrove, Rasmussen are the brain trust behind this steaming pile.
These are the same "for the children" frauds that have held hostage much needed shared parenting legislation targeted at giving NCPs more time with their kids. The reason; only wife beaters lose custody battles according to opponents--- I'm not kidding by even 1% on this one.

I personally will be making contributions to anyone that will run against both useless Senator Hargrove, and my own Senator McAwful.
And, I will be making contributions to any PAC that opposes them.
These family louses need to go, sooner the better!!!
Defending the devil, these folks have at least recognized the evils of jerking a driver's license, then beating the slave to still pay CS, when he has to drive to work to make money.
That said, if someone is paying current, and even $10 a month on arrears, I can get their DL back, unrestricted.
At least, with this bill, it is guaranteed, because now it is up to the evil SEO, unless you go for a conference board.
Since so many beat-down dads don't know of this relief, they often just drive anyway, uninsured.
Sad, sad day.
But, I give them credit for trying to do "something".
