Thurston County is in Washington State. Washington State is the 42nd state of the United States of America. Our national language is English. Immigrants (legal or otherwise) come here because the combination of the personal freedoms and economic opportunities of their home country sucked big time. A big fat welcome to all legal immigrants. Congratulations for navigating through the hell that is our INS.
Everyone living here needs to learn to speak our national language. A single national language is part of what makes this country great.
To Home Depot, Lowes and all other companies that believe we have more than one national language: You are hereby losing my business. Here is the kicker- most legal immigrants do learn to speak English. So what Lowes and Home Depot are doing is trying to cater to immigrants who are not here legally and don't give a crap about our laws nor our sovereignty.
I say screw you. I will shop all of your local competitors before ever going into either of your stores ever again. Price is not an issue.
For the record, I speak more than one language. In fact many Americans know more than one language. It comes in handy when visiting other countries that expect people to know their own national language.
Also for the record- I shorted Lowes stock when it was above 30. It's trading today at about 23. Double screws to you.
