Because we all know America comes to Thurston Pundits for a bone saw analysis of the VP debates. I'll be honest- I turned it off and took the dogs for a walk. It was that awful- (Not specific to Sarah and more specific to Biden...and generally the entire dog and pony show).
Listening to Biden is like listening to a used car dealer- he's so full of crap that you just tune him out. In real life- no one argues with a pathological liar, which is why I think the media never calls him on it- that and they are completely in the tank for Obama.
From what I saw- I think Palin would have done better if her debate prep had been watching about 12 hours of Reagan speeches and debates, followed by another 8 hours of John Wayne movies, then downing two pots of coffee and an energy drink just before taking the stage.
this would have helped (I know- I rent them both on a regular basis)
...like when Gwen tossed the reneg'ging on promises question due to budget (previous post)- the correct answer is "we're not going break any promise- what we are going to promise is to make sure government is smaller"....sadly not one of McCain's running points (Ronulans- please dont pile on).
Also I lost my lunch 10 minutes in and tuned out- but returned to see gay marriage was a topic.... REALLY? PLEASE TELL ME THE PART WHERE GWEN ASKED ABOUT 3rd (and 4th) term abortions!!!!!!!! I'm sure I missed it while I was walking the dogs, right?
If Palin had watched the John Wayne movie- she would have said screw you Gwen- I'll address that right after Biden answers the abortion question...
...and then shoved it back to them that this should be a state issue and not McCain or Obama dictating right/wrong to the country. Liberal or Conservative- you have to love state's rights. That makes me either freaking brilliant or a captain obvious promotion to colonol.
yeah- I know we all still love Palin, but I was really left uninspired by Sarah (and outright nauseated by Biden).
