The taxpayers just paid about 2 million bucks to Norm Dicks son to point out the obvious on pollution in the Puget Sound. Every sentence of this report is KNOWN. He may as well have handed in Joe Biden's book report on Old Yeller.Now call me crazy- but I can think of 500 million BETTER ways this “study” money could have been spent to clean up the sound.
In case you are wondering- the 2008 annual slush money for this do-nothing organization is about 14 million.
The sound will not be cleaned up on Gregoire's watch. But you can be certain Washingtonians will pay through the nose to made aware that it's broken.
UPDATE:
If you check the budget, PSP's budget is largely of federal grant money. So the organization is pretty much a front operation for the Taxpayer->Dicks->Gregoire-> Dicks money chute.
