Yer screwed '08- What Gregoire really meant when she said now is not the time to raise taxes

Obama: "Yes we can!" (raise taxes to astronomical levels)

*Gregoire: "er ummm...we'd like to, but no we can't."

I had sort of forgotten about Governor Eyman's leash law for the legislature.


So basically, the state legislature will be a neutered circus act for the next year or two. Perhaps they could fill their empty winter days by helping lay some asphalt on the 405?
