For those of you evil rich road warriors working 12 hour days and not collecting extended unemployment benefits from Obama's stash, check out the lame DOT/Joint base response to traffic congestion. Like good civil servants, they're going to "study" the problem.
Can someone get a sack of quarters and knock the idiot who architected this lame ass response in the side of the head?
I love our military and I'm glad they are back. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. It pains me to say that if our military's response to IEDs and Al Queda were as inept as their dropping several thousand new commuters on our local freeway with no congestion plan, our troops would all be bits and pieces on the side of highway in Abdulafadajad. JB staff needs to up their game.
It's pretty clear you have a stream of bodies going from Yelm, Lacey, Olympia and Tumwater to the Dupont entry. Get your crappy military buses in service and get asses on those buses NOW. It's ridiculous that this many bodies moving 20 miles are clogging up a stretch of freeway which moves several thousand more commuters to Tacoma, Kent, Seattle, and Bellevue daily. Believe it or not- a lot of Thurstonites spend hours a day on the road to get to high salaries. Another 30 minutes makes this commute unmanagable.
For all of you commuters sitting in this mess. Don't worry, this will get you used to the lines caused by government controlling your health care.
