Anyone else notice that Maria Cantwell who is up for election in 2012 was pretty much absent from all recent Obama events locally?
She is holding a joint fundraiser this coming week with the shill who is bidding to unseat 3/4 ton disappointment Scott Brown. You know cuz our states are so connected.
I'm not sure how "in play" the Washington State Senate seat is at this juncture, but you know its bad for BO when someone in a normally safe seat won't come near you. Sigh. Even if voter frustrations are at an all time high, I have the greatest faith that the GOP here locally will find a way to underwhelm voters with a candidate to take on Senator Cantwell. Sort of like the way Dino Rossi just phoned it in 2010. I like Dino, but that campaign was like watching Rock XI, except Rocky not only lost in the movie, but every prequel as well.
Unless they some how convince Steve Largent to get into local politics, I plan on tuning out that race. Sad, because it could be in play.
