on Sopa, PIPA and the anti-Patriot Act . . . Get Ready!
I found the perfect theme song for our time, in modern day Amerika, when buying some new classic rock iTunes. "Get ready, get ready . . . Stormtroopers coming, get ready." This is a classic and so is the album it came from; Ted Nugent, Ted Nugent. "Hey, Baby", "Snakeskin Cowboys", "Stormtroopin", "Just what the Doctor ordered." Are you kidding me? Talk about kick ass! They don't write R&R songs like that anymore. By far, this was uncle Ted's best LP. I love Ted for his politics and I do realize some people just don't make good band mates together. I also know that some lead singers can be complete prima donna pain in the rears. I've seen it for myself firsthand. But, my only beef with uncle Ted is that I wish he hadn't blown Derrick St. Holmes out of the band. They were an awesome band that shaped many a guitar player and R&R songwriter for a few decades. So, enjoy this rare footage. The sound quality is iffy on the below Vid. There are better quality vids out there. But, this is classic, vintage high energy Ted live in Oakland A's stadium (a terrible ball park for watching baseball BTW) "back in the day" and he is wasn't talking about Nazi Germany . . . Get Ready cuz Stormtroopers coming!!!!
