I check my mail once a week and I throw 95% of it away. I would really like it if the post office delivered to my house 4 times a month. I'm baffled as to why I should pay higher taxes to support a business model that not only does not work, but is an annoying nuisance to most of its customers. It's like someone coming by and dumping trash in my yard every day. This is in spite of putting freezes on as much of my credit info as humanly possible. I would pay triple the current postage rates to just get the stuff that matters to me. You know, like UPS and FedEx; two companies not asking for help from congress.
I tip my mail carrier[s] at Christmas, but I don't owe them a job any more than they owe me full time employment for something the brings them minimum value.
