Rob McKenna, another RINO with a losing strategy

RINO Rob McKenna may have the lead in polls, but his is a losing strategy.  Once upon a time I thought social conservatives should stop being such cry babies over issues like abortion, traditional marriage and hold their nose while voting for a fiscal conservative.  Then John McCain showed the world what a terrible strategy that was.  Those days are past.

Again and again McKenna has thumbed his nose at conservative values and taken conservative voters for granted while running to the left.  The left has a candidate, his name is Jay Inslee.  If people want failed liberal policies, they will vote for Inslee, not a cheap John McCain run to the middle wannabe.

Case in point:  Giving the Boy Scouts a sharp stick in the eye over their position of not allowing openly gay youths to be part of scouting.  Why couldn't McKenna just respect an institution of childhood that is openly against indoctrinating sex into our youth?  I applaud an organization with a motto where "Be prepared!" doesn't mean carry a condom or the morning after pill.  How is that policy anti gay?  To the militant gay crowd, any policy that isn't putting gay on parade is anti gay.  News flash to McKenna, you didn't win any left wing gay supporters and that's because you have an (R) by your name.

Next case in point: Obamacare.  This blog applauded McKenna's suit against the law that had to be passed so we could find out what's in it.  While I am sure it may contain a few clauses which make sense, I'm not going to change my zip code to Hades because I like the happy hour menu at the bar.  Rather than encourage ideas that make sense as an alternative, McKenna threw conservatives under the bus and ran to the left.  That's not a leader, that's a 7th grade girl (sorry to insult any 7th grade girls who actually don't crave the approval of people who will never like you anyway).

Rob McKenna is taking conservatives for granted.  Conservatives are a tough bunch and while I'm far from an Ellen Craswell voter, my nose holding fingers already have carpel tunnel from supporting Mitt Romney.  I'll be happy to lend him a pen to write his concession speech in November, but that's as far as this conservative will go to support him.

Fellow peep James White gets my vote. The only candidate talking family court reform. McKenna loves the legal traps and follies of any court especially the family DV court. He's a flip flappin flim flammin lawyer. At the end of the day, we are just electing ANOTHER lawyer to the executive office to avoid another bad big government demoncrat in Enslee. Big law or big spend? Neither float my boat. Throwin my vote at James White. At least I will have my conscience after I mail it off.

The Tac Trib has a good voter guide, BTW.
