Gay Marriage, the result of Church subcontracting covenants with God to the government

It occurred to me that this entire Gay Marriage crisis is a complete and total result of Churches allowing the government to get into the marriage business.  I mean what is it about a convenant with God that is so frail that it can be dissolved by a liberal judge and a county clerk?  Over the course of our nation's history, religion has allowed government to codify marriage into a general partnership which has hooks into things like inheritance, health insurance, and parenting.  Emphasis on the parental responsibilities.  Church's have played an active role in making marriage NOT sacred.

A rational response to religious opposition to the government recognizing gay marriage is for churches to define a marriage contract that meets God's requirement and make it legally binding:  One man, one woman, till death do you part.  Also the Church can get in line to be the referee when a marriage goes south, including a predefined parenting plan which can be guaranteed to be subject to review by your church's GALs and not the state's.  Note how many RCW's written by the liberal left can be averted with contract written by the Church for God.  Oh and if you want to sign up for a Church recognized marriage, there are some pre-requisites, like marriage counselling, etc.  Also, it is legally binding until death do you part, so choose wisely.

Granted this wouldn't be something everyone is going to be on board with. Then again, what covenant with God should ever be taken lightly?  If you don't like it, go and get one of the weddings from the sodomites who run the government.  I personally would recommend my daughter not go for a ride on the handbasket on its way to hell and instead choose the path that thins the weeds.

I also know that some lead singers can be complete prima donna pain in the rears. I've seen it for myself firsthand. But, my only beef with uncle Ted is that I wish he hadn't blown Derrick St. Holmes out of the band. They were an awesome band that shaped many a guitar player and R&R songwriter for a few decades. Warren Buffett dodging IRS agents at SOTU address?

I hear tax criminals go to jail.  Willie Nelson for instance was looking at the barred hotel for his tax problems.  So perhaps Buffett is sending his secretary to attend the SOTU because he's afraid of the IRS arresting him for the millions in unpaid taxes he owes.

Buffett lecturing us about paying more in taxes is like a crack addict lecturing us on the merits of clean living. 
Geeze I wish one of the candidates would bust Obama's little Omaha buddy on that one.  Not to mention all the White House cronies who owe millions in unpaid taxes.  Seems like theres a set of rules for them and another for the rest of us.

Gregoire and the gay marriage crisis that won't go to waste

Having solved all of the state's other issues, Gregoire is going to take on a crisis that impacts all of us: Gay marriage.  I mean just the other day I was looking at our near 9% (16% effective) unemployment rate and declared what a horror it is that I can't gay marry another man.

It was extremely wise of our Governor to call the legislature into an emergency session in 2011 so they would have their plates clear this spring to talk about how to implement this new social contract.  If you are detecting sarcasm, its because I'm dishing it with a snow shovel.

Think about it, Gregoire is bringing this issue up now because it tactically makes sense.  Having re-elected Patty Murray, Washington voters have demonstrated how far into the ditch they are willing to allow elected officials to run this state and country so long as their leaders have a "D" by their name.  Knowing full well she is completely screwed on the state's budget, Gregoire is picking up a flame thrower and setting fire to the building in hopes the GOP will run around with small buckets of water and attempt to clean up her mess.

I don't credit Gregoire or the Democrats for the current state of affairs; they are doing what Democrats do and exactly what they feel the voters want them to do as their barometer and litmus test is never ending reelections.  I credit Chris Vance and other establishment Republicans who were essentially "for sale" for the past decade while bringing us lackluster candidates like Mike McGavick and the 3-peat loser Dino Rossi who inspired us in 2004, but only brought a caricature of himself in 2008 and 2010.

What should the GOP do while Gregoire runs around with the flame thrower setting the building on fire?  Shut and lock the doors with the entire Democrat controlled legislature inside.  Make them own their mess.

Down town Olympia would be a better place if

In fact, I might shop downtown if they did hire him.  Of course since the people of Olympia value the non-business of the homeless anarchists protesting capitalism more than they value commerce, I'll take my dollars elsewhere.

Tim Tebow: BB winner

I usually hand out the Brass Balls award for an act of standing up to thuggery.  So handing it out to Tim Tebow is a bit of a new theme in the BB.  Tim's life long pursuit of not only athletic but also moral excellence puts him in a class of all his own and the envy and hate has reached a boiling point among the narcissistic self centered morally depraved thugs who typically dominate the sports media spotlight.  I stopped short of awarding it on the last media go around when the pro-abortion crowd asked for a donation on every Tebow touchdown, but the Charles Barkley boil over puts Tebow over the top and into new tterritory.

In the general spirit of being hated by bad people for being awesome TT wins the BB.  Keep doing what you're doing.

McKenna joins call to reauthorize Violence Against Women Act

In a liberal, feminist, Bar Association ran state like Washington State, Rob McKenna has to be a whore for VAWA. This is where I dislike Rob and his color purple campaign. First and foremost, he is a lawyer. He is the King Lawyer (like Gregoire was) of the state as the current ATG. Lawyers have ran this country into the ground and we don't need more of it. Additionally, we are supposed to have three separate and distinct branches of government (Separation of Powers). Having a lawyer and Bar Union whore in the executive branch is a violation of that principle. Same goes for the many lawyers in the legislature and running the Judiciary committee. Lawyers should be banned from the Executive Office and the Legislature. Civics 101. Our founders understood that one.

I do appreciate his efforts with the appearance of open government with his sunshine committee. I also appreciate his opposition to the unconstitutional and socialist ObamaCare. Some bone throwin to the right to be sure. But, Rob is a McCain Rhino at best and I understand he wants to be the big cheese of Liberal feminist Washington State. So, he'll do what he has to do and championing VAWA is a given to achieve his goal. It even sounds nice to be against violence against women. Who isn't? We all want our women safe from harm. VAWA is an absurd waste of tax payer money and has turned the courts into no burden of proof extortion chambers. The courts and county are now financially dependent on Federal VAWA funds and are misandrist torture chambers as a result. It has turned the courts against men and children. VAWA is a Bar Association scam that starts at the top and goes all the way through all levels of government and results in fatherless homes, unconstitutional courts and tax payer funding of legal rackets. Socialist VP Biden is the Father and author of the VAWA act. What does that tell you?

Stop taking awesome logos and associating them with your causes

Yeah- this message goes out to a time machine to the Nazi German Third Reich and to the white supremists of the 1970s and 80's:  Stop taking symbols that really ought to mean something cool and turning them into your perverted branding campaigns.

How about a time, which includes the majority of the course of human history when the swastika stood for good luck and prosperity?  Will that time ever return, or do the Nazi's and white supremists own this symbol forever?  I dunno, but I'm going to side with Jews on how long that symbol stays in the penalty box of logos.

How about a time when the flag of the confederacy stood for rebellion against a central government trashing states rights?  Yes I know my civil war history, and at best, you can tie the expansion of slavery into new states and territories as an ancillary issue and was used as political football, not unlike Social Security/Medicare today.  Most Southerners as I understand were also not fond of slavery.  Rebellion, not racism (until about 30-40 years ago).  Lucky thing those racist Brits had abolished slavery but were being sympathetic to the South, thus Lincoln issued emancipation to put Britain in the impossible position of having to be publicy racist if they supported the South*. 

Tom Petty, who is of late as big as any of libtards, made a similar lamentation when he had to drop using the confederate flag with his concert tours and albums in the early 1980's.   Again, rebellion, not racism.  Sadly cool lost out.

Other thoughts:

To their credit, the gay pride promoters chose an absolutely horrid brand symbol (that rainbow flag) which quite honestly, no one but little girls and and the rainbow state of Hawaii would want to reclaim. Also to their credit, the communists have been keeping with the Soviet flag who to their own credit, the Soviets had a graphic design team come up with something original.  Dope smokers were able to hijack Adidas and for the longest while Adidas dropped the three leaves, but since Hwy 420 is more fashionable these days, they've been putting it back in, likely to drive Tshirt sales up among the dope smokers.  The Tea Party crowd seems to have gone towards the "Don't tread on me" logo, which is pretty much in line with the original intent, so no branding foul there.



*Side note; this begs the question: what if the South had abolished slavery in order to curry favor with foreign supporters? The course of human history might have been quite different.

So, the special interest lobby groups and anti-traditionalists want to "legalize" same sex marriage. The law makers in Olympia will be passing new legislation very soon. This will be passed by the same legislative group that created the anti-family court laws and opposes shared parenting. This is Liberal Washington State. It will be passed. Regardless, we go back and forth with the traditional view, the Biblical position (which used to define our once great country) and argue against the rising tide of secularism and androgynous mediocrity. I tend to not care what the "state" or the "law" has to say about Homosexual marriage. What they say does not define me or what God has already said. I have a different slant on it after being gored by the Washington Courts family court racket. I say "have at it." You want some of that? Have at it. Our state legislature will be glad to oblige you and the Bar Association will thank you.

Laws are a tangled up code of manmade rules designed by man to govern (er control) other imperfect men. The state laws are not the final authority on morality. Thank God for that!

It's been said before on the Thurston right wing blogosphere that it will be great fun to watch gays and Lesbians get trounced and exhorted like hetero men in the family court racket. Link to boon for divorce industry. Won't it be great fun to watch Schaller and Indu and the rest of the legal merchants try to figure out who's more feminine so they can figure out who they will automatically rule for and against in applying their legal prejudices? It's gonna get tough to promote the DV industry agenda based on gender when a bunch of dikes and femmy boyz start showin up in the "family" court. Ha, ha , ha. I"m LMAO at this one. Have at it. Really! This will be great fun to watch and will give them a shot in the arm with new business. Gay marriages will start filling up their courts in a big way and keep lawyers from creating other systems of legalized extortion. Statistics show homosexual relationships are more promiscuous, less stable and have a higher percentage of intimate partner abuse (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE), esp. Lesbian relationships. The DV industry will become the second largest growing industry right behind big government. Turkey Baster custody battles! This will be great fun to watch the legal wranglers navigate these and other issues that arise. Marriage is no easy task to begin with in a world and culture that attacks it at every turn. This culture doesn't value marriage anyway. So, by all means, have at it and fill up the "family" courts and keep the smart criminals off the streets.

All Jokes and secular Bee Ess aside . . . What is this really all about?

Gays already have legal instruments to accomplish inheritances, wealth and asset transfers, etc etc. Most Insurance companies now cover "domestic partners" anyway. So, what is it you are really after? You want society to tell you it's ok that your gay. You need to be accepted, cuddled, embraced and told you are ok and it's ok that you like having sex with same sex partners. Well, that's where we part ways. God makes his position well known in the Bible no matter how much you try to re-write the new European NIV. WHEN it becomes a law in this Liberal state, it still won't make it right or moral in God's eyes or mine. Do not confuse a contrived, manmade legal code with morality and God's righteousness. He loves you but hates sinful behavior. Despite our different viewpoints, if you treat me with respect, I'll treat you with respect. This is America. You have the right to do whatever you want behind closed doors. We are free to pursue whatever path we choose and the consequences that accompany those choices even when it defies God's word. We all have a sin nature in this fallen world and we all have a different cross to bear. Legislating a new legal code won't change that. So, no matter what the state, the courts or modern day society says, homosexuality will still be and always be an abomination to the Lord. You can take comfort in the world and what they say about you or you can conform to the ways of the Lord which is opposed to the world. He says, "Do not conform to the world." I look up for righteousness not around, especially not around here. Olympia? Are you kidding? Sodom and Gomorrah?

What else is this really all about? "Hate speech" Laws are really the end game (and the line in the sand).

A Warning - Do Not legislate morality or force your gay ideology on Bible believing Christians. God's word is God's word and America is still America where we are free to worship and conduct our lives any way we choose. That is where I take issue with the G&L agenda and Same Sex Marriage. Do not legislate and dictate what we think, believe and teach our children. DO NOT tell us that preachers who preach the word of God will be arrested under the guise of "hate speech." If you don't like it or agree with it, get up and leave the service. Go to the Universal Unitarian Liberal church where they teach it's ok to be gay and have homo-sex, bi-sex, sex with animals or whatever floats your boat. Point is, don't patronize a church you don't agree with. You have choices and Freedom in America. Preaching and teaching the Bible is not hate speech. It is Truth speech and sometimes the truth hurts or is unpleasant when it hits us individually between the eyes. So, DO NOT try to legislate what goes on inside our churches anymore than what goes on inside your bedroom. YOU WILL have a full scale civil war on your hands at that point. Separation of Church and State? You can't have it both ways to suit your agenda du jure. America was founded on religious freedom. America is the land of the Free and it is still the home of the Brave no matter what the legal racketeers and special interest groups say or pass into law. So, have your gay marriage and feed the divorce industry some more business. But, DO NOT legislate what is taught on Sundays. That, my fellow American, is the line in the sand.

While I'm never a fan of race based politics, there is a rare occasion when race is an asset for situational purposes, NOT for public policy making.  Example: While I would be thrilled with Allen West's machismo and conservative stand regardless of race, I am totally enjoying the living hell out of what I know he is doing to the Congression Black Caucus.

Counter Transference in GALs and DV mandated counselling ? duh!

For years I've heard this complaint from fathers going through the ringer in divorce. 

The court appointed man-hating feminist who is also a volunteer lobbyist for the state recognizing and condoning alternative forms of family (ie- gay marriage) is biased against them.  It turns out there is actually a clinical term for the dynamic of the extremely biased results:   Counter Transference.  Basically what the courts do in appointing case workers and evaluators, is they do the exactly what is forbidden in clinical psychology: they assign non-professionals or hack professionals with strong feelings and bias towards an issue (worse, an AGENDA) to work in sensitive cases where any bias will have devastating results to the lives of people involved.  Go figure one party feels like they got ganged up on and handed to the wolves.

To those who have been through that ringer, this is a giant NO DUH!!!  The real question is: How do we as fathers rights advocates engage the legislature[s] and the psychology profession to put an end to this pattern of abuse in the family courts?
